More winds of change

A reflection so far. God is good. In its most simplistic form, that statement is overwhelmingly true. As I trace my steps over the past few months, I realize how much God has been a necessary part through it all and in it all. I'm still on my way to complete healing, but God is faithful, and his mercies are new. I cannot imagine the depths of His love for me. He has blessed me so much this summer with a release of things that I have been holding onto. A surrender of my will to His. I'm still amazed by it, but I still have a ways to go.

This past week we took our students on another field trip. This time we went to the Aquarium and to see Hurricane on the Bayou. It's been fun getting to hang out with my students and get to know them. Some of them have asked to come to church with me, and that's encouraging as well. I'm looking forward to a new year of school and a new year of involvement with these internationals and new friends.
