Full Days of Work

I've reached a point of normalcy in my life again, and it's very good. I still don't know how things are going to work out in my life, but at least now I can handle the not-knowing.

Part of this normalcy comes from being busy again. I've been working full-time at UNO, and I'm extremely exhausted from the work. I love it, but at the end of the day, I'm very tired. This past weekend, I went on a hiking trip with some of the students. We had a really fun time, and I got to continue building some relationships with students that I didn't know very well. On the way to Tunica Hills which is a two hour drive from NOLA,
I had a very intense theological discussion with a seeking French guy. It was good, but by the time we got there, I was already tired from talking. The hike was amazing. I didn't know we had waterfalls and trails like these in Louisiana. It started raining on us half way through, and we were soaked, but it was pretty cool just the same.

I'm really loving my church. All churches have problems, and this one does too, but most churches seem to have really great people who exist and function in the church, and I'm really glad those people are there.
