To live by Faith

A realization of the awesomeness, greatness of this God of the universe precedes the study of our faith. Gardiner Spring asks "Can you look to Him to be sanctified by His Spirit, to be governed by His laws, to be protected by His power, to be saved by His death, to be disposed of at His pleasure, and to be the means of promoting His Glory?" When we see our lives in the light of God, we realize how completely in control He is. When our lives feel broken, fragmented and fearful, we can fix our eyes on the Perfect Creator who sees the pieces of the puzzle and knows exactly how it all fits together. For me, it is sometimes a daily struggle, sometimes an hourly struggle of handing over the pieces to God. But everytime I do, He melts away the fear as he promises me that He's got the world in His hands and that my brokenness has a purpose for His glory.
